Check-in time is 2pm and check-out is before 11am.  You are welcome to ask if an early check-in or a late check-out is possible and our team will advise you depending upon our occupancy and our guest's timings. We will do our best to accommodate you if we have availability.

Airport

The closest Airport to Palolem is Goa International Airport (GOI) Dabolim, Goa. The airport is approximately 1.5 hours drive from Palolem Beach. 

 

Airport Transfers

 

We will be happy to arrange airport transfers to and/or from the hotel for you.  We choose our drivers and their cars with care to ensure you have a good experience on your way to Palm Forest. Please send us your flight details (including Flight number, Departure City, Arrival time in Goa) and we will send you the price depending on your time or arrival/departure.

Cancellation

Cancellation before 14 days of arrival: Free Cancellation if cancelled before 14 days of arrival. Your deposit will be refunded to you in full.
Cancellation within 14 days of arrival: Partial Charge - 50% of Full Stay. Deposit will not be refundable.

Change of Dates

We will do our best to accommodate date changes. Please try to give us as much notice as possible. We are generally able to accommodate date changes, except at peak times such as Diwali, Christmas, New Year and Easter.

 

Food & Drink

 

We serve a deliciously healthy tropical breakfast and in the restaurant and bar area between 7 - 10 am daily. Breakfast is complimentary, however other meals are not included.

 

We believe that food should nourish the body and so we always use good quality organic products and locally sourced produce where possible. In an effort to be healthier humans and help Save the Planet by reducing methane emissions and cruelty to animals, you will not find any meat products in our menu.  

 

There are also many other dining options for lunch and dinner within a few minutes’walk along the beach or 5 minutes’ walk along the road.  

 

If you have any specific dietary requirements or requests, please feel free to discuss this with our staff or management team and we will do our best. Please give us a little advance notice as we may be busy. 

 

Location

 

Palm Forest is a little hidden away and off the main road. Where possible please contact us in advance to advise us of your arrival time. We can also arrange transfers from the airport/ bus and train stations. If you come by car please stay in contact with us and we can either meet you at the car park of your choice, or on the road to take your luggage before you park your car.  

Parking

There is no space for car parking at the hotel as we are not on a main road but rather located on a property in between the main road and the beach. Car parking is available for a fee at one of the car parks on the main road, and we can meet you there to provide direction to Palm Forest. There is space to park your scooter but this is public unsecured parking just off of the main road.  

Children

All Children are welcome. One child under 12 years stays free of charge when using existing beds. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for children's cots/cribs. Extra children will be charged INR.500 per night. 

Pets

Although we love animals, we have to say no to pets at Palm Forest. There are many local dogs in the area which may not react well to your pet, and some guests are allergic or fearful of animals. We want everyone to be safe and comfortable here.  

 

No Smoking

 

For your health and the health of others our rooms and property are entirely non-smoking.

Accessibility or People of Determination

Although our cottages only have a couple of steps leading up to them, the surrounding area can be difficult to access for people with limited mobility due to the sand, narrow path and steps down to the beach. That said, with your permission we are willing and happy to assist under your direction. We appreciate that there is a spectrum of needs, so please feel welcome to discuss with us any assistance or information you may need. 

Electricity

The electricity in South Goa cannot unfortunately be called reliable.There may be times during your stay when we do not have electricity in the hotel or in the huts. Please try to see this as part of the charm of being on holiday in India. Unfortunately, it is out of our control.
